with the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), has announced plans to host a one-day tax education awareness program aimed at educating residents and business operators on the importance of paying taxes and the benefits of tax compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a public flyer, the program is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Women Center adjacent to the NASSER Hotel in Gbarnga City, Bong County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is expected to begin at 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The awareness initiative is intended to help citizens understand how taxes are collected, why taxpayers are required to fulfill their tax obligations, and how tax revenues contribute to national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flyer indicates that the LRA will use the occasion to explain how taxes are paid and the benefits citizens and businesses can receive from fulfilling their tax responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants expected to benefit from the program include business operators, school representatives, motorcyclists,
