The National Patriotic Party (NPP) informs the general public that it will convene its National Convention on 18 December 2026. The National Convention will peacefully bring together party partisans to elect officers whose tenures have expired and to further consolidate and strengthen the party’s reconciliation process.
Additionally, the Local Convention is scheduled to commence on 12 November 2026, while the National Convention will begin on 18 December 2026. The Local Convention is divided into five (5) regions as follows:
Region One
Region One comprises Montserrado and Margibi Counties. The convention will be held at the respective county capitals from 12 to 18 November 2026.
Region Two
Region Two comprises Grand Bassa, River Cess, and Sinoe Counties. The convention will be held at the respective county capitals from 12 to 18 November 2026.
Region Three
Region Three comprises Bong, Nimba, and Lofa Counties. The convention will be held at the respective county capitals from 12 to 18 November 2026.
Region Four
Region Four comprises Maryland, Grand Gedeh, Grand Kru, and River Gee Counties. The convention will be held at the respective county headquarters from 12 to 18 November 2026.
Region Five
Region Five comprises Grand Cape Mount, Gbarpolu, and Bomi Counties. The convention will be held at the respective county capitals from 12 to 18
November 2026.
National Convention
The National Convention will be held in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County, from 18 to 19 December 2026.
The National Patriotic Party calls on all partisans and stakeholders to participate peacefully and constructively in these important activities as the party continues to strengthen its democratic processes and unity.
